Hoi An

Loving Hoi An! Its a place I'd like to come back to. There's a lovely old town with narrow streets and restaurants/shops all lit with coloured lanterns. Its set on a river..(not great quality pic as it ws getting dusky)

Its lovely walking around at night, loads of really good restaurants, some with international food. Had a really nice pasta dish last night which was a great change from rice dishes. Prices are higher though but 8e for a delcious meal with  drinks and coffee - I'm not complaining!

Staying in a great spot, its on a island but only a couple of minutes walk across a bridge to the town of Hoi An. Its really peaceful here and no "beep beep " sounds! Great value too - only 20e a night and that includes breakfast! Hard to take photos of it but you can check it out on this link

Had a great day today at the beach! Its 4km from here so I hired a bike (1euro for the day!) and cycled there. The beach is lovely, went swimming - the water was warm. It is very hot here though, 36 deg today but its ok in the shade and the cycle was great - only took 10-15mins.

                                                                 The beach....
